Update August 13, 2020: After careful consideration and consultation with the local authorities, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event for this year. All registrations will be deferred to the 2021 event. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of the Roxbury Community Benefit 5K.

We will continue to monitor the state and local guidelines and restrictions as we prepare to make some decisions about a new date for the Roxbury 5k. Our goal is to hold the race this year, however we can not commit to the final date at this time. The dates we are looking at August 31 with backup date of September 20th.
Several factors will weigh into the final decision, including regulations regarding the allowable size of an outdoor gathering and the ability to hold the event in a safe and responsible way. We also will need approvals from Roxbury Twp, Roxbury police department, health department and Roxbury board of education. As you can see, we have an uphill challenge.
We thank you for your patience and understanding. We hope you and your family are safe and healthy during these crazy times.
